Steele Jessup
Steele Jessup has lived within 15 miles of Stuttgart, Arkansas for his entire life. Four generations of Jessups have hunted ducks on the family land. With crops of rice, soybeans, and corn, this farmland attracts thousands of migrating ducks and waterfowl each season. Grand Prairie clients have the unique opportunity to hunt on this private land along with a guide who grew up hunting ducks here.
Steele is happy to join Grand Prairie as a full time guide for the 2011-2012 season. This year, he will be working with Sugar, a very experienced and enthusiastic hunting dog and favorite of our returning clients. Steele is looking forward to working outdoors and helping clients improve their calling and shooting skills.
In addition to duck hunting and guiding, Steele is an avid fisherman and deer hunter. During the warmer months, you’ll find him on area reservoirs trying his luck with bass. A former Division I Golfer, Steele is also a football fan and enjoys rooting for the Arkansas Razorbacks. An experienced and versatile musician, Steele earns his living playing guitar and singing when hunting season is over. With a repertoire of country, blues, rock and classic rock, this hunting guide welcomes your song requests!
