Chris Davis lives in Paris, TN with his wife Amy and son and is a construction foreman for an asphalt company. Fortunately, asphalt work comes to a screeching halt right around December 1st. This timing is no happy accident; Chris deliberately selected a line of work that left him free to indulge his passion for duck hunting each and every season.
Like many Southerners, Chris grew up in a family where hunting was a long-standing tradition. His father took him along on trips as soon as he could walk. Every December he can remember was spent in a duck blind and he was still in high school when he began training with and assisting a professional guide. Once he graduated, Chris started duck guiding on Kentucky Lake. The waterfowl hunting in Tennessee was good, but after Chris got a taste of the action in Arkansas, he never looked back.
Chris and his chocolate Lab, Mary, have been with Grand Prairie Duck Guiding for fourteen seasons now. He truly looks forward to hunting with clients and loves to see the regulars return with their sons and nephews. He especially enjoys helping young people develop their hunting skills and sharing the excitement of a great day in the field.
